Shahrooz Nia started performing both stage magic and close-up magic in London at the young age of 17 when he began performing six minute acts in nightclubs, spotlight him from the center of the venue. Shahrooz would perform an illusion and the guests would go back to drinks and dancing waiting for the next act with anticipation. This was such a trend that he was performing at venues in the West-end of London, the center for nightlife, such as Xenon and Hippodrome owned by Stringfellows. Shahrooz had then moved to Los Angles and performed at Magic Castle and the Comedy and Magic Club. He is still an active member of Magic Circle in England and Magic Castle.
While living in Los Angeles he traveled and performed in Japan, parts of Asia, on cruise ships and continued to be active in London. Shahrooz then started focusing on stage magic and while designing and building props for a futuristic robot act he was inspired with the material known as cast acrylic or Lucite. While working with the acrylic he started creating high-end furniture pieces and sculptures for the designer furniture market which can be seen in high-end furniture showrooms such as the Wynn and Encore in Las Vegas. After many years of working with the acrylic he started incorporating his love for acrylic sculptures and magic, making the props for his illusions more modern and beautiful. By using this clear and transparent material, audiences are left more amazed and curious than ever. Shahrooz Magic Production also known as Shahrooz Mystere offers a variety of acts that each have their own theme, unique presentation, and choreography. Shahrooz Mystere is a night consisting of dance mixed with magic!
